The defect

THE MANUAL CONTROL LEVER MAY FRACTURE DUE TO IMPROPER MATERIAL COMPOSITION CAUSING POSSIBLE LOSS OF FUNCTION.

The remedy

DEALER WILL REPLACE THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION MANUAL CONTROL SHIFT LEVER WITH A NEW LEVER ASSEMBLY AT NO COST TO OWNER.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: TRUCKS, LIGHT.SYSTEM: POWER TRAIN; TRANSMISSION, CONTROL LEVER.CONSEQUENCES OF DEFECT: IF FRACTURE DOES OCCUR, THE TRANSMISSION WILL REMAIN INTHE POSITION AT WHICH FAILURE OCCURRED. THIS MAY LEAD TO LOSS OF VEHICLECONTROL AND AN ACCIDENT.
