The defect
THE ABSENCE OF A FASTENER MAY ALLOW A FLEXIBLE RUBBER BRAKE HOSE TO COME INTO CONTACT WITH THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD. THE RUBBER HOSE MAY MELT AND CAUSE A LOSS OF BRAKE FLUID AND BRAKING POWER TO THE REAR AXLES OF THE VEHICLES.
The remedy
DEALER WILL INSPECT THE ROUTING OF THE FLEXIBLE RUBBER HOSE AND, IF NECESSARY, SECURE THE BRAKE LINE AT NO COST TO OWNER.
