The defect
THE INVOLVED VEHICLES MAY CONTAIN EMERGENCY ESCAPE WINDOWS THAT DO NOT COMPLY WITH FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 217, "BUS WINDOW RETENTION AND RELEASE". EXCESSIVE FORCE MAY BE REQUIRED TO OPEN THESE WINDOWS.
The remedy
EMERGENCY WINDOWS WILL BE MODIFIED TO ENSURE SAFE OPERATION WITHOUT CHARGE.
