The defect
THE INVOLVED VEHICLES DO NOT CONFORM TO FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 208, "OCCUPANT CRASH PROTECTION IN PASSENGER CARS, MPVS, TRUCKS AND BUSES". THE NON-COMPLIANCE EXISTS BECAUSE THE SEAT BELTS MAY HAVE BEEN OMITTED FROM THE LOUNGE AND JUMP SEATS.
The remedy
DEALER WILL INSTALL SEAT BELTS ON ALL INVOLVED VEHICLES AT NO CHARGE TO OWNER.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: MOTOR VANS.SYSTEM: INTERIOR; SEAT BELTS.CONSEQUENCES OF DEFECT: LACK OF SEAT BELTS WOULD INCREASE THE CHANCES OFSERIOUS INJURY TO PASSENGERS IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT.
