The defect

THE ROUTING AND FASTENING OF THE AUXILIARY STARTER CABLE IN THE AREA OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT IS FASTENED IN SUCH A FASHION THAT IT MAY, THROUGH CONTACT WITH A FRAME MEMBER, CHAFE AND CREATE AN ELECTRICAL SHORT.

The remedy

THE AUXILIARY STARTER WIRING WILL BE REFASTENED; IN THE EVENT OF ANY CHAFING, IT WILL BE REPLACED. THIS WILL BE PERFORMED AT NO COST TO OWNER.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: MOTOR HOMES EQUIPPED WITH AUXILIARY STARTING SYSTEMS.SYSTEM: ELECTRICAL; WIRING HARNESS.CONSEQUENCES OF DEFECT: SHOULD THE SHORTING OCCUR, THERE IS A POTENTIAL FORDAMAGE TO THE BATTERIES AND FIRE IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT, WITH RESULTINGINJURIES TO VEHICLE PASSENGERS.
