The defect

THE AIR BRAKE HOSE LEADING TO THE FRONT AXLE SPRING BRAKE CHAMBERS MAY BE 1.5 INCHES SHORTER THAN THE SPECIFIED LENGTH OR ARE CONNECTED TO AIR TANKS MISLOCATED UP TO 1.5 INCHES. CONSEQUENCE OF DEFECT: FAILURE OF THE HOSES WOULD LEAD TO DECREASED BRAKING CAPABILITY WHICH MAY RESULT IN AN ACCIDENT.

The remedy

REPLACE 28 INCH HOSES WITH 32 INCH HOSES.
