The defect
AN UNDERSIZED KING PIN WAS USED IN ASSEMBLY. CONSEQUENCE OF DEFECT: THE TRAILER COULD SEPARATE FROM THE TOWING VEHICLE AND CRASH OR CAUSE AN ACCIDENT.
The remedy
INSTALL CORRECT SIZE KING PIN.
