The defect
UNDER SIZED REAR AXLES AND AXLE BEARING FOR LOAD APPLICATION WERE INSTALLED ON THESE VEHICLES. THIS MAY CAUSE THE REAR AXLE OR AXLE BEARING TO FAIL. CONSEQUENCE OF DEFECT: FAILURE OF REAR AXLE AND/OR BEARINGS DUE TO OVERLOAD MAY CAUSE LOSS OF CONTROL AND POSSIBLE LOSS OF REAR WHEELS, EITHER OF WHICH MAY RESULT IN AN ACCIDENT.
The remedy
REPLACE REAR AXLE AND BEARING WITH PROPER SIZE FOR RATED LOAD.
