The defect
CRACKS MAY DEVELOP IN THE MAIN FRAME AT THE LANDING GEAR ATTACHMENT DUE TO DEFECTIVE WELDING. CONSEQUENCE OF DEFECT: MAIN FRAME COULD FRACTURE AND WITHOUT WARNING, VEHICLE COULD CRASH.
The remedy
MODIFY MAIN FRAME AT LANDING GEAR ATTACHMENT AND/OR INSTALL REINFORCEMENT TO PREVENT CRACKING.
