THE TAPERED KING PIN MAY HAVE BEEN BROKEN SHORTLY AFTER ASSEMBLY INTO THE AXLE.
The risk
KING PIN COULD WORK LOOSE, CAUSING ERRATIC STEERINGWHICH COULD RESULT IN LOSS OF CONTROL AND A CRASH.
The remedy
REPAIR TO CORRECT BROKEN KING PIN CONDITION.
