The defect
THE BRAKE INTERLOCK SHUTTLE VALVE ASSEMBLY COULD UNDER A HEAVY SERVICE BRAKE APPLICATION FRACTURE OR FRAGMENT THE INTERNAL SHUTTLE PISTON.
The risk
THE FRACTURE OR FRAGMENTION OF THE INTERLOCK SHUTTLEVALVE PISTON COULD RESULT IN PARTIAL OR COMPLETE LOSS OF REAR BRAKING. AREDUCTION IN BRAKING ABILITY COULD RESULT IN A VEHICLE CRASH WITHOUT PRIORWARNING.
The remedy
NEW IMPROVED BRAKE INTERLOCK SHUTTLE ASSEMBLY WILL BE INSTALLED.
