The defect
TURN SIGNAL DOES NOT CANCEL WITH ROTATION OF STEERING WHEEL.
The risk
THIS CONDITION CAUSES THE VEHICLE TO FAIL TO MEET THEREQUIREMENT OF FMVSS NO. 108.
The remedy
A NEW TURN SIGNAL SWITCH DESIGNED TO OPERATE AS REQUIRED BY FMVSS NO. 108 WILL BE INSTALLED.
