The defect
THE CONTOURED SIDE CLEARANCE LAMP ASSEMBLY DID NOT HAVE THE REQUIRED REFLEX REFLECTOR MOLDED INTO THE LAMP LENS.
The risk
TRAILERS WOULD NOT COMPLY WITH FMVSS 108.
The remedy
INSTALL SELF ADHESIVE MOUNTED REFLEX REFLECTORS.
