The defect

ELECTRONIC FOOT PEDAL SPRINGS COULD FAIL PREVENTING THE THE PEDAL FROM RETURNING TO ITS NORMAL IDLE POSITION.

The risk

THIS COULD CAUSE AN UNINTENDED FULL THROTTLE CONDITION THAT COULD RESULT IN AN ACCIDENT.

The remedy

INSTALL A FAILSAFE SWITCH ONTO FOOT PEDAL ASSEMBLY TO PREVENT UNINTENDED FULL THROTTLE CONDITION FROM OCCURING.
