The defect
HELMETS DID NOT COMPLY WITH THE PENETRATION AND IMPACT REQUIREMENTS OF FMVSS 218.
The risk
HELMET USER MAY SUFFER SERIOUS HEAD INJURIES FROM HELMETBEING INSUFFICIENT TO WITHSTAND IMPACTS.
The remedy
OWNERS WILL RECEIVE A REPLACEMENT HELMET OR A REFUND OF PURCHASE PRICE.
