The defect
THE PARKING BRAKE MAY NOT EXERT SUFFICIENT FORCE TO ENABLE THE VEHICLE TO CONFORM TO THE GRADE HOLDING REQUIREMENTS OF FMVSS 121.
The risk
VEHICLES WITH INSUFFICIENT PARKING BRAKE FORCE CAN ROLLWITHOUT PRIOR WARNING WHEN PARKED ON A GRADE, THIS COULD RESULT IN A VEHICLEACCIDENT.
The remedy
REPLACE THE PARKING BRAKE CHAMBERS.
