The defect

A CRACK COULD DEVELOP IN THE FUEL FILTER HOUSING ADJACENT TO THE WELD WHICH CAUSES FUEL LEAKS.

The risk

THE FUEL FILTER IS LOCATED IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT;FUEL LEAKS CAN RESULT IN AN UNDERHOOD FIRE IF EXPOSED TO A SOURCE OF IGNITION.

The remedy

REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE FUEL FILTERS.
