The defect

THE POWER STEERING PUMP IS IMPROPERLY CALIBRATED AND HAS INSUFFICIENT POWER STEERING FLUID FLOW FOR THE OPERATION OF THE STEERING SYSTEM.

The risk

INSUFFICIENT FLUID FLOW TO THE STEERING SYSTEM CAN RESULTIN INCREASED STEERING EFFORT, LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL, AND A POSSIBLE ACCIDENT.

The remedy

CORRECT THE CALIBRATION OF THE POWER STEERING PUMP.

SYSTEM: STEERING.VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: TRANSIT COACH UNDER 30 FEET IN LENGTH.NOTE: THIS SITUATION WAS REMEDIED BY CHANCE COACH IN JULY 1991.
