The defect
THE SAFETY BELT RETRACTOR DESIGNED FOR THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE CABIN WAS INSTALLED ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE, AND THE DRIVER'S SIDE RETRACTOR WAS INSTALLED ON THE PASSENGER SIDE.
The risk
THE INCORRECT EMERGENCY LOCKING SAFETY BELT RETRACTORWOULD NOT FUNCTION ADEQUATELY IN THE EVENT OF A SUDDEN STOP OR ACCIDENT, ANDSEAT OCCUPANTS WOULD FACE AN INCREASED RISK OF INJURY.
The remedy
INSTALL NEW, CORRECT RETRACTORS AS NEEDED.
