The defect

THE SAFETY COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATION LABEL ON THESE BUSES HAVE INCORRECT INFLATION PRESSURES FOR BOTH FRONT AND REAR TIRES. THESE BUSES DO NOT CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF FMVSS NO. 10, "TIRE SELECTION AND RIMS FOR MOTOR VEHICLES OTHER THAN PASSENGER CARS."

The risk

INCORRECT INFLATION OF TIRES CAUSES EXCESSIVE UNEVEN TIRE WEAR WHICH CAN RESULT IN TIRE FAILURE AND AN ACCIDENT.

The remedy

CORRECTED CERTIFICATION LABELS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED TO ALL OWNERS OF THESE BUSES.
