The defect
THE BRAKE RELEASE TIMING DOES NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF FMVSS NO. 121, "AIR BRAKE SYSTEMS."
The risk
CONSEQUENCE OF NON-COMPLIANCE: PREMATURE BRAKE WEAR COULD CAUSE INCREASED STOPPING DISTANCES INCREASING THE RISK OF A VEHICLE ACCIDENT.
The remedy
OWNERS WILL BE PROVIDED WITH PARTS, INSTRUCTIONS AND ASSISTANCE IN RESTORING THE BRAKE TIMING TO FMVSS 121 REQUIREMENTS.
