The defect

THE PARKING BRAKE CYLINDER ROD CAN SEPARATE FROM THE SOCKET THAT IT IS THREADED INTO DUE TO DEFECTIVE THREADS.

The risk

IF THIS OCCURS, THE PARKING BRAKE WILL RELEASE INCREASING THE RISK OF A VEHICLE ACCIDENT.

The remedy

DEALERS WILL REMOVE AND REPLACE THE PARK BRAKE CYLINDER.
