The defect

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: CHEVROLET AND GMC CONVERSION VANS EQUIPPED WITH TWIN AIR "ULTRA" REAR HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING UNITS AND CONVERTED BY SOUTHERN COMFORT CONVERSIONS. THE HEATER AND AIR CONDITIONING UNITS CONTAIN A RESISTOR COIL THAT CAN OVERHEAT WHEN THE FAN IS RUNNING AT A LOW SPEED.

The risk

THIS COULD CAUSE A FIRE WITHIN THE UNIT.

The remedy

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE RESISTOR COIL IN THESE UNITS.
