The defect

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: MEDIUM DUTY TRUCKS. A SMALL SEAL BOOT IN THE SELF-ADJUSTING BRAKE SYSTEM LOCATED ON THE RIGHT REAR SLACK ADJUSTER MAY HAVE BEEN TORN IN THE MOVEMENT OF THE VEHICLE DURING THE ASSEMBLY PROCESS.

The risk

BRAKE EFFECTIVENESS COULD BE REDUCED, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

The remedy

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE SEAL BOOTS.
