VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: SCHOOL BUSES. THERE IS A SHIMMY IN THE FRONT END OF THE BUS.

THIS CONDITION COULD CAUSE THE DRIVER TO LOSE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE.

The remedy

OWNERS WILL BE PROVIDED WITH AN AXLE DAMPER KIT AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS.

OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN DECEMBER 15, 1999.OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT BLUE BIRD AT 1-912-825-2021.ALSO CONTACT THE NATIONAL HIGHWAY TRAFFIC SAFETY ADMINISTRATION'S AUTO SAFETY HOTLINE AT 1-888-DASH-2-DOT (1-888-327-4236).
