The defect: THE INVOLVED VEHICLES DO NOT CONFORM TO FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 212, "WINDSHIELD MOUNTING". THE BONDING OF THE WINDSHIELD TO THE BODY MAY BE DEFECTIVE.
The remedy: DEALER WILL INSPECT AND, IF NECESSARY, REINSTALL THE WINDSHIELD WITH IMPROVED BONDING MATERIAL, WITHOUT CHARGE.
