The defect: REV Ambulance Group Orlando, Inc. (REV) is recalling certain model year 2012-2013 Road Rescue Type I, 2013-2016 Road Rescue Type III, and 2014-2017 Road Rescue Type IX emergency vehicles equipped with a 2" subfloor. The bolts used to install the cot securing system to the floor may be too short.
The risk: In the event of a crash, the cot may not remain secured, possibly causing injury to the vehicle occupants.
The remedy: REV will notify owners, and dealers will provide the correct replacement hardware for the affected units, free of charge. The recall began on July 20, 2017. Owners may contact REV customer service at 1-800-628-8178.

On certain 2007 - 2017 model year REV Ambulance Group Orlando, Inc. ambulances equipped with web style Oxygen retention straps it has come to our attention that some end users may not be aware of the proper belt placement. Proper placement is essential to achieve appropriate vertical retention of the 02 bottle. Failure to restrain the compressed 02 air bottle vertically during a roll over event could cause a potential hazard.

Wheeled Coach/Road Rescue is recommending that you inspect the vent hose at the fuel tank to verify that there is a quick connect fitting on the hose that connects to the tank.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:ALTERNATOR/GENERATOR/REGULATOR

Wheeled Coach/Road Rescue is recommending that you verify the lug size on the output cable of the secondary alternator for the below vehicles. The correct lug size should be ¼? and fit snugly around the alternator post.
