2018 Shasta Oasis Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

Last year tire steel blew belts while driving down the road causing internal and external trailer damage and swearving. Had to partially block lane on 2 lane road to change with spare which caused a dangerous situation for myself and motorists. This year the spare violently blew up exposing belts while just attached to back of trailer. I see many reports of these tires blowing up on Forest river campers. The tire is Castle Rock ST radial I hear made by Lionshead. Please address this and similar issues with China Bomb Tires before many people are killed.
