TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1998 SKYLINE LAYTON. THE VEHICLE HAS A DOMETIC REFRIGERATOR, MODEL RM3662. THE CONTACT NOTICED A YELLOWISH RESIDUE AND AN AMMONIA ODOR EMANATING FROM THE EQUIPMENT. THE EQUIPMENT WAS REPLACED AND THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 08E032000 (EQUIPMENT). THE MANUFACTURER ADVISED HIM TO SUBMIT REIMBURSEMENT FORMS AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS. ONE YEAR LATER, HE WAS ADVISED BY A REPRESENTATIVE THAT HE WAS INELIGIBLE FOR REIMBURSEMENT BECAUSE HIS CLAIM WAS NOT IN THE REIMBURSEMENT PARAMETER. THE CONTACT ORIGINALLY SUBMITTED THE FORMS WITHIN THE GIVEN TIMEFRAME. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE NOT APPLICABLE. UPDATED 020209 *BF UPDATED 02/03/09. *JB
