TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1999 SUNNYBROOK MOBILESCOUT. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR THE EQUIPMENT AND CALLED DOMETIC. DOMETIC SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT TO REPAIR THE REFRIGERATOR UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 07V131000 (EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE). ONCE AT THE SERVICE CENTER, THE CONTACT WAS ASKED TO LEAVE THE VEHICLE THERE SO THE REPAIRS COULD BE PERFORMED. THE FOLLOWING DAY, DOMETIC STATED THAT THEY WOULD NO LONGER PAY TO REPAIR THE FAILURE IDENTIFIED IN THE RECALL NOTICE. THE VEHICLE IS STILL AT THE DEALER AND THEY ARE CHARGING $800 TO PERFORM THE REPAIR. THE RECALL NUMBER WAS UNKNOWN. NO OTHER VEHICLE INFORMATION WAS AVAILABLE.
