The defect: RESISTANCE WELDS WHICH FORM THE ATTACHMENT OF THE FUEL TANK HANGER TO THE FLOOR PAN ARE NOT FIRM WELDS.
The risk: THIS COULD RESULT IN FUEL TANK SEPARATION.
The remedy: FUEL TANK HANGER WILL BE MIG WELDED TO THE FLOOR PAN.
