The defect: THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT THE BATTERY SET PLATE (MOUNTING BRACKET) MAY PHYSICALLY CONTACT THE REAR BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER REMOTE RESERVOIR HOSE. PROLONGED USAGE COULD RESULT IN HOSE WEAR AND BRAKE FLUID LEAKAGE.
The remedy: THE DEALER WILL INSTALL A RUBBER BUFFER ON THE BATTERY SET PLATE TO ELIMINATE THE POSSIBILITY OF HOSE WEAR.

This Service Bulletin was sent by Suzuki Motor Corporation to its authorized Suzuki automobile distributors in the U.S., explaining the importance of proper inspection and maintenance of suspension lower arm ball joints to prevent the ball stud from becoming separated from the suspension lower arm.
