What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 1998 Suzuki Suzuki Motorcycle, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

Ranked by how many owner reports name each component category
- Brakes250.0%

THE TRANMISSION ON MY SUZUKI MOTORCYLCE JUMPS PUT OFF 4TH GEAR. THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE 1500 LC SERIES. THIS IS AFACTORY DEFECT ADN THE FOLLOWING WEB PAGE EXPLAINS WHY. HTTP://24.116.28.74/~4THGEAR. *AK WHY HAS THE NHTSA NOT PUSHED FOR A FACTORY RECALL OF TEH MOTORCYCLES IN ORDER TO PREVENT A DEATH OR OTHER SERIOUS BODILY HARM TO COMSUMERS? ALSO, THE BRAKES ON THESE BIKES ARE VERY POOR AS THEY WEAR OUT ION LESS THAN 2000 MILES.
