Reports submitted to NHTSA, shown in the owner's own words
The aux alternator installed to charge the house battery is failing, making noise and almost starting the motorhome on fire. A quick search found EVERYONE with the Thor motorhomes with this alternator is having the same issues and Thor will do nothing about it. Many have installed multiple new alternators, and because the wiring gauge isn't big enough (also installed by Thor) the issues come up again, and again. Many people have been left stranded, many have had to put a fire out due to this defect. I contacted Thor and they are well aware of teh issue, yet do not help to resolve it.

BACK OVER PREVENTION
On certain Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans, the MBUX multimedia system software might not meet specifications. Under very specific conditions, the MBUX multimedia system might not start and the display might remain black, or could reboot unintentionally after 50 seconds of initial startup. Accordingly, the rearview camera image might not be displayed or the display might be interrupted, which could increase a risk of a crash or injury. This affects the following Thor Motor Coach products: model year 2020 Citation, Siesta, & Synergy; 2020-2022 Delano & Tiburon; 2021-2022 Sanctuary & Tranquility motorhomes.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING; SEATS
MBAG has determined that on certain Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicles that are equipped with electrically adjustable front swivel-seats, the seat wiring harness may be improperly routed or mounted within the swivel-seat frame and could become pinched and damaged during the electric adjustment of the seat position. If the wiring harness were to become pinched and damaged during adjustment of the swivel seat, in a worst case scenario, the operation of the seat-mounted side airbag might not operate properly and the side airbag could either deploy inadvertently or not deploy as designed in the event of a crash. This condition could increase the risk of injury in the event of a crash. This affects the following Thor Motor Coach products: model year 2021/2022 Sanctuary and 2021/2022 Tranquility motorhomes.

Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.

Complaint and recall counts across every year of this model
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
