DUE TO THE HURRICANE FRANCES CONSUMER HAD TO UNPLUG THE TRAILER, AND WITHOUT ANY REASON THE SAMSUM MODEL MR5491G, SERIAL# 71T9N900143N CAUGHT ON FIRE BY ITSELF. MANUFACTURER'S TELEPHONE NUMBER 1-800 932-3287 WHICH WAS INCLUDED IN THE MANUAL WAS DISCONNECTED. *AK

FAILURE OF TRAILER BRAKE SYSTEM CAUSED BY A SHORT CIRCUIT IN THE BRAKE WIRING.*MR THE WIRING WAS ROUTED TIGHT BETWEEN THE TRAILER FRAME AND A PANEL COVERING THE WATER TANK. INSTALLATION ON THE WIRE GRADUALLY WORE THREW AND CAUSED A SHORT CIRCUIT WHICH TOTALLY DISABLED THE TRAILER BRAKES. *PH *JB
