What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2023 Tiffin Allegro, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

Vehicle has the slide creep issue, Tiffin and the dealership were aware of this issue on the 34PA model and did not disclose it to me when purchased. Vehicle has been at dealership since November 2023 and is still there with no resolve.
The contact owns a 2023 Tiffin Wayfarer RV built on a 2022 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. The contact stated while checking his RV, he noticed that the generator exhaust was too close to the ground. The dealer was not contacted. Additionally, the wheel well liners around the tires were rubbing against the driver’s side rear tires. The manufacturer was contacted; however, the contact had not yet received a response. The failure mileage was 2,360.

Tiffin issued the following recall for some models of their Allegro motorhomes. https://www.usatoday.com/recalls/automotive/NHTSA-22V273000/#:~:text=Tiffin%20Motorhomes%2C%20Inc.,seals%20in%20the%20hydraulic%20cylinders. The model I have is not included in the recall, but I am experiences the same problem, the slide-out extends while parked (or possibly while moving). I brought the unit in for repairs in May 2023 and picked the unit up in September 2023. Poulsbo RV confirmed the slide-out extends when parked, as it occurred on their lot as well. Poulsbo RV was in communication with Tiffin and Lippert regarding the issue. They claimed to have made appropriate repairs, and the work order shows that a solenoid failed and was replaced. Since the repair in September, the slide-out has extended twice while parked.
There appears to be a number of recalls issued for a known "slider creep" while in motion. NHTSA Recall # 22V-273 TC Recall # 2022-206 Tiffin Recall # TIF-122 We recently purchased a 2023 Allegro Open Road 32SA. We have experienced un-commanded slide creep and land gear retraction. It appears the recall needs to be extended to 2023 models as well.626
