The defect: Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Zephyr, Wayfarer, Phaeton, Open Trail, GT1, Allegro Red, Allegro Open Road, Allegro Bus, Allegro Bay, 2026 Midas, Byway, and Allegro Breeze recreational vehicles, equipped with certain MaxxAir N-Series Maxxfan rooftop ventilation fans. The printed circuit board may fail during certain operations and overheat.
The risk: An overheated printed circuit board increases the risk of a fire.
The remedy: Dealers will replace the circuit board, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 28, 2026. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. Tiffin's number for this recall is TIF-149. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning August 28, 2026.

The defect: Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Open Trail, Wayfarer, and 2026 Midas recreational vehicles. The Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) label may have been incorrectly printed on a white label. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Wheels and Rims-Other Than Passenger Cars."
The risk: The incorrect label color may make it difficult for the operator to locate the loading or tire pressure information, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will replace the label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 2, 2026. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. Tiffin's number for this recall is WAY-107.

Tiffin Motorhomes issued a service bulletin to install a tow plug connector not installed by production on certain 2026 Midas Motorhomes.

POWER TRAIN

Tiffin Motorhomes was notified by Ford Motor Company about a customer satisfaction program to cover a one time repair on the transfer case which may be damaged as a result of repeated high-torque acceleration from a stop consistent with certain sever-duty vehicle usage.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; VISIBILITY/WIPER

Ford Recall # 25V315. Ford sent the following to Tiffin to send out to customers involved. On your vehicle, the infotainment screen may freeze followed by a black screen and a system reboot. If this occurs during a backing event, the rear-view image may be frozen, missing, or delayed. A frozen rear-view camera display image while in reverse can reduce the driver's view of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
