Our database holds 2 NHTSA owner-reported complaints for the 2004 Triumph Bonneville T100. Each one is a report filed by an owner or driver and published by NHTSA without most of them being verified. A complaint is not a confirmed defect, not a recall and not a manufacturer bulletin. Narratives are shown exactly as filed.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

REAR SPOKE BROKE WHILE UNDER SPEED RESULTING IN IMMEDIATE FLAT TIRE. *JB
AS I WAS PULLING OUT OF A GAS STATION ONTO THE ROAD I HEARD A POP AND FELT A VIBRATION IN THE HANDLEBAR. I PULLED OVER AND EXAMINED THE FRONT WHEEL BECAUSE THAT'S WHERE THE NOISE SEEMED TO COME FROM, EVERYTHING LOOKED FINE WITH THE FRONT WHEEL SO I DROVE OFF AT 35 MPH, THE SPEED LIMIT ON THAT ROAD, AND ABOUT A MILE DOWN THE ROAD THE BIKE FELT WOBBLY SO I PULLED OVER AGAIN AND NOW HAD A FLAT REAR TIRE AND NOTICED ONE OF THE SPOKES HAD BROKEN OFF THE LEFT (BRAKE DISK) SIDE OF THE REAR WHEEL. *NM
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
