What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2006 Ud UD1800, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

WHILE DRIVING ON THE EXPRESSWAY APPROX 60 MPH, MY ARMADA BEING TO SLOW DOWN ON IT'S OWN I WAS ABLE TO STEER THE SUV OVER TO THE SHOULDER JUST IN ENOUGH TIME TO NOT CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. THE TRUCK COMPLETEYL SHUT OFF,AS IF IT WENT DEAD. WHEN I TRIED TO RESTART IT WOULD NOT TURNOVER. THE SUV WAS TOWED TO A NISSAN DEALER SERVICE DEPT AND WAS KEPT THERE FOR A WEK FOR TESTING. I WAS TOLD THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG, JUST OUT OF GAS. I HAD BETWEEN A 1/2-1/4 TANK OF GAS PRIOR TO THIS.I RECEIVE THE SUV BACK ON 11/5/07. ON 11/6/07 WHILE DRIVING WITH A SMALL CHILD INSIDE,THE SAME THING HAPPEN AGAIN. THIS TIME A 18 WHEELER TRUCK ALMOST RAN INTO THE BACK OF MY TRUCK. THIS TIME I COULD STEER OVER TO THE SIDE,THE TRUCK WENT COMPLETELY DEAD.MY LIFE AND NIECES LIFE WAS ALMOST TAKEN. *TR
Too few reports in this category for a page of its own — they appear in the full complaint list.
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
