What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2020 US Cargo Cargo Trailer, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

I BOUGHT A 2020 CARGO MATE ENCLOSED TRAILER CLASE E BRAND NEW OUT OF THE DEALERSHIP IN ALBUQUERQUE NM. J @B TRAILER. BACK IN MARCH 2020 JUST A FEW SHORT MONTHS LATER I STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE TRAILER WITH ELECTRICAL . I LOST MY MARKER LIGHTS AND THE TRAILER KEPT BLOWING UP A FUSE IN MY TRUCK'S FUSE BOX. I TOOK THE TRAILER TO MY MECHANIC AND AFTER HAVING IT INSPECTED THE FOUND OUT THAT THE WIRING OF THE TAIL LIGHTS WAS NOT DONE PROPERLY . THE WIRES WERE MELTED AND ATTACHED TO EACH OTHER AND THAT IS WHAT CAUSE THE FUSE TO KEEP BURNING OUT . MY MECHANIC EXPLAINED THAT THE TRAILER COULD OF CUT ON FIRE BECAUSE THE WIRE WAS TOUCHING METAL . I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AND FEEL LIKE I WAS SOLD A DEFECTIVE TRAILER . PLEASE TAKE ACTION ON THIS TRAILER COMPANY BEFORE SOMEONE GETS HURT THANK YOU.*DT*JB
Too few reports in this category for a page of its own — they appear in the full complaint list.
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
