I HAVE CALLED MY LOCAL DEALER FOR MY CAR WILL HIT A BUMP SHUT OFF AND COME RIGHT BACK ON. ALSO THE AIR BAG LIGHT WILL NOT GO OFF. I HAVE ASKED THEM IF THIS WAS PART OF THE RECALL THEY SAID EVEN IF IT WAS ITS TO LONG FOR THEM TO COVER IT UNDER THE RECALL ID HAVE TO PAY MYSELF. IT SOUNDS TO ME AS THIS ISSUE IS PART OF THE RECALL. WHAT CAN I DO TO HAVE THIS ISSUE FIXED UNDER THE RECALL STATUE?
I RECD A RECALL NOTICE IN MAY 2016 FOR AIRBAG RECALL. AS OF TODAY, OCT 30, 2017, I AM STILL TOLD BY THE DEALERSHIPS THAT THIS PART IS UNAVAILABLE AND THAT THE COMPANY PROCESSING PART HAS FILED BANKRUPTCY AND IT IS UNKNOWN WHEN THIS PART WILL BE AVAILABLE. I'M UNCOMFORTABLE DRIVING A VEHICLE THAT HAS BEEN RECALLED BECAUSE OF SAFETY FEATURE DEFECTS. I WANT A RESOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM. 2009 CHEVY SILVERADO

RIGHT REAR PASSENGER DOOR FILLED WITH WATER AFTER RAIN, SHORTED SPEAKER THUS FAR. UNKNOWN IF OTHER ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS COMPROMISED BY WATER FILLED DOOR. I FEAR THAT ELECTRICAL SWITCH IN DOOR CAN LEAD TO ELECTRICAL SHOCK TO CHILD WHO SEATS REAR SEAT BECAUSE OF WATER THAT WAS PRESENT. SEALS APPEAR TO BE IN WORKING CONDITION WITH NO TEARS OR SPLITS. MANUALLY PULLED BOTTOM SEAL TO DRAIN WATER.

POWER STEERING & ESC ISN'T FUNCTIONING CORRECTLY
WHEN I FIRST BROUGHT THE CAR FROM CURTIS AUTO SALE I MENTION THE LIGHT BEEN ON AND THEY TOLD ME THAT GM HAD SLOT OF PARTS ON RECALL. WHEN THE CAR WAS RETURNED TO ME THE LIGHT WAS OFF. AND SINCE THEN IT WOULD FLASH OFF AND ON BRIEFLY BUT NEVER GAVE ME ANY PROBLEMS UNTIL NOW. I WAS ON THE HIGHWAY AND LOST ALL POWER STEERING PLEASE RECALL THIS PART.

POWER STEERING & ESC ISN'T FUNCTIONING CORRECTLY
I WOULD BE DRIVING AND EVERYTHING WOULD START FLICKERING AND THE DOOR LOCKS WOULD BE GOING UP AND DOWN, I HAD NO CONTROL ON THE GAS BUT I COULD BRAKE. SO I PULLED OVER AND TURNED THE TRUCK OFF AND I WAS UNABLE TO RESTART THE TRUCK - THIS HAS NOW HAPPENED TWICE WITHIN 2 WEEKS. THE FIRST TIME THIS HAD HAPPENED ON MAY 21ST, 2016 - I WAS IN A PARKING LOT IN SAN LEANDRO, THE SECOND TIME THIS HAPPENED I WAS ON THE HIGHWAY DRIVING STRAIGHT.

SEPTEMBER 2018 I HAD 2 ERROR CODES P0013 ANYTIME D P0014 REGARDING CAM SHAFT REPLACEMENT. WITH ALL THE COBALT RECALLS I WANTED TO REPORT AS WELL WITH MY IGNITION SYSTEM GOING OUT TOO
