Radius Rods bolts back out of rod causing steering and handling issues. Extremely unsafe. Driver can and will lose total control of vehicle.
On cold starts there is a loss of power steering. When driving the vehicle, as you slow down to turn left or right the steering wheel is very difficult to turn requiring the driver to use both hands, as if there is a loss of power steering.
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
