The defect: Polaris Industries, Inc. (Polaris) is recalling certain model year 2013-2014 Victory Cross Country, Cross Roads, Hammer Eight Ball, High Ball, Jackpot, Vegas Eight Ball, 2014 Victory Cross Country Eight Ball, Cross Roads Eight Ball, Ness Cross Country, 2015 Victory Gunner, and 2013 Victory Hardball motorcycles. The fuel pump in the affected motorcycles may have been incorrectly crimped during manufacturing, which may result in the fuel pump seizing.
The risk: If the fuel pump seizes, the motorcycle will stall, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Victory will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel pump, free of charge. The recall began on January 14, 2015. Owners may contact Victory consumer service at 1-877-737-7172. Polaris' number for this recall is V-15-01 A/B.

The defect: Polaris Industries, Inc. (Polaris) is recalling certain model year 2015 Victory Cross Country, Cross Country Eightball, Cross Country Tour, Gunner, Hammer Eightball, High-Ball, Magnum, Vision Tour ABS and Vegas Eightball motorcycles manufactured August 11, 2014, to September 2, 2014. The affected motorcycles may have been manufactured with the transmission shift drum detent roller spring incorrectly installed.
The risk: If the roller spring is incorrectly installed, the transmission may not shift as intended, potentially causing the operator to lose control, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Polaris has notified owners, and dealers will inspect and repair the transmission, free of charge. The recall began on October 9, 2014. Owners may contact Polaris customer service at 1-888-704-5290. Polaris' number for this recall is V-14-03 A/B.

The defect: Polaris Industries, Inc. (Polaris) is recalling certain model year 2014 Victory Cross Country, Cross Country Eight Ball, Hammer Eight Ball, High Ball, Jackpot, Judge, Ness Cross Country, Vegas Eight Ball, Vision, Boardwalk, and 2015 Victory Gunner motorcycles manufactured January 22, 2014, through April 25, 2014. The crankcase may have been machined incorrectly causing insufficient clearance between the crankshaft and crankcase, causing the engine to unexpectedly seize.
The risk: Engine seizure may cause the operator to lose control of the motorcycle, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Polaris will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and correct the crankcase clearance, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began on May 20, 2014. Owners may contact Polaris customer service at 1-888-704-5290. Note: Owners are advised not to ride their motorcycle until the recall remdy has been performed.

THE ISSUES ARE A "LEAKING PRIMARY GASKET" AND "ENGINE TICKING" AT START UP, ENGINE KNOCK IS SEVERE AT IDLE WITH CLUTCH IN OR OUT, BUT WORSE OUT. KNOCK STOPS UNDER LOAD BUT RETURNED UNDER DECORATION OR IDLE. DEALER, (SPIRIT MOTORCYCLE) REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING. THE DEALER SAID LEAKING GASKETS AND TICKING ENGINES WERE NORMAL AND WOULD FIX ITSELF OVER TIME. ACCORDING TO THE MANUFACTURE (POLARIS / VICTORY), LEAKING GASKETS ARE NORMAL AND OIL ON THE FOOT CONTROLS ARE NOT A SAFETY PROBLEM.

A STOP RIDE MEANS THE CONSUMER MUST NOT OPERATE THEIR VEHICLE UNTIL THE REPAIR IS COMPLETE. We have been made aware that some dealers are incorrectly communicating the importance of STOP RIDE communications.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM

Victory has determined that some 2015-2016 Victory Cruiser motorcycles, certified for sale in the EU market and some non-EU countries outside of the United States and Canada, may not meet emission standards required by the EU directive 2002/24/EC. Victory has released an exhaust system inspection procedure and an ECM software update to bring emissions levels into compliance with EU requirements.

Victory has determined that some 2015 Victory motorcycle models, designated for sale in the State of California, may not meet emission control standards set forth by the California Air Resource Board (CARB). Some 2015 Victory motorcycles, equipped with California emission control components, may not effectively utilize stored fuel vapor from the charcoal canister. Victory has developed an updated Idle Air Control distribution hose which enables the engine to draw fuel vapor from the charcoal canister into both front and rear cylinders resulting in more complete utilization of stored fuel vapor. The ECM software must also be updated.
