The defect: Vantage Mobility, LLC (VM) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Toyota Sienna vehicles, equipped with a rear entry wheelchair conversion. The trailing arm mounts have insufficient welds that can crack and fail.
The risk: A weld failure increases the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will repair the trailing arm mounts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 6, 2025. Owners may contact Vantage Mobility customer service at 1-800-488-9082.

Safety recall

Manufacturer communication
Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.
