AIR COMPRESSOR DISCHARGE LINE LEAKING AIR, DEALER FOUND HOLE IN LINE NEAR REAR RIGHT SIDE OF ENGINE. *TT
THE 500 DETROIT DIESEL ENGINE CAUSED ROUGH IDLE AND LOW POWER, AT 103000 MILES DETROIT OVERHAULED THE ENGINE, CYLINDERS AND PISTONS HAD BURNED, WATER PUMP FAILED, AND ENGINE HAD 8-10 VALVE ADJUSTMENTS, AT 130000 MILES THE WARRANTY WAS CANCELLED, VEHICLE WAS TURNED IN AT 130000 MILES. *SLC

THE ENGINE RACES FOR NO REASON AND THE ONLY WAY TO STOP IT, IS TO SHUT THE TRUCK DOWN AND ALLOW THE COMPUTER TO RESET, ALSO THE MOTOR IS SPEWING OIL ONTO THE ENGINE.*YH
