2005 Weekend Warrior Fk Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 WEEKEND WARRIOR FK1900. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 05V444000 (EXTERIOR LIGHTING) AND IMMEDIATELY CALLED THE DEALER. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE PARTS FOR THE RECALL REPAIR WERE UNAVAILABLE. HE ATTEMPTED TO CALL THE MANUFACTURER, BUT THE NUMBER LISTED FOR THEM WAS DISCONNECTED. WHEN THE CONTACT CALLED THE DEALER AGAIN HE WAS INFORMED THAT THE MANUFACTURER WENT BANKRUPT; THEREFORE, THE TECHNICIANS WOULD NOT REPAIR THE VEHICLE BECAUSE THEY WOULD NOT RECEIVE FINANCIAL REIMBURSEMENT. ALSO, THE PARTS WERE UNAVAILABLE. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THERE HAD BEEN NO FAILURE TO DATE.
