WHILE DRIVING AT THE SPEED ESTIMATED AROUND 40 MPH THE MOTOR HOME HIT A TREE CAUSED TWO FATALITIES AND ONE NECK INJURY. THIS CASE WAS TRIED IN CIVIL DISTRICT COURT, THE VERDICT OF GUILTY WAS DECIDED ON OCTOBER 26, 2001 AGAINST WHILE DRIVING AT THE SPEED ESTIMATED AROUND 40 MPH THE MOTOR HOME HIT A TREE CAUSED TWO FATALITIES AND ONE NECK INJURY. THIS CASE WAS TRIED IN CIVIL DISTRICT COURT; THE VERDICT OF GUILTY WAS DECIDED ON OCTOBER 26, 2001 AGAINST WINNEBAGO. IT WAS FOUND THAT THEIR PRODUCT WAS UNREASONABLY DANGEROUS FOR LACK OF A DESIGN THAT WOULD PROTECT PASSENGERS IN A CRASH AND FOR FAILING TO NOTIFY PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS THAT THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT WITHSTAND AN IMPACT AT MODERATE SPEEDS.
