TIRE SEPARATION ON 2001 WINNEBAGO JOURNEY DL.***NO ANSWER REQUIRED***.*MR THE CONSUMER HAD THREE INCIDENTS OF TIRE BLOWOUTS. IN EACH CASE THE TIRE BLEWOUT THOUGH THE SIDEWALL. THESE FAILURES OCCURRED AT 28520, 34321 AND 37012. ( TWO TIRES HAD DOT NUMBER B6BJBVJX3001 AND ONE HAD B6BJBVJX2000). *NM
THREE OF FOUR REAR TIRES ON MY MOTOR HOME HAVE BLOWN OUT IN THE PAST YEAR. THE MOTOR HOME IS A 2001 WINNEBAGO ON A FREIGHTLINE CHASSIS WITH MICHELIN TIRES. ALL OF THE BLOWOUTS HAVE BEEN IN THE SAME FASHION. THIS HAPPENED WITH MILEAGE OF 25,000-27,000 ON UNIT.*AK

TOTAL LOSS OF AIR PRESSURE ON OUR 2001 WINNEBAGO JOURNEY DL DUE TO THE BLOW-OUT OF TWO SMALL AIR TUBES ON THE ENGINE AIR COMPRESSOR. THESE TUBES ARE 3 TO 31/2 IN. LONG X 1/4 IN. IN DIAMETER. THESE TUBES ARE MADE OF PLASTIC AND SHOULD NOT BE USED TO CONTROL BRAKING SYSTEMS FOR A 26,000LB VEHICLE. *AK
