What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2006 Winnebago Sightseer, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

THE FRAME THAT HOLDS THE WINDSHIELDS RUSTS AND CAN CAUSE THE WINDSHIELD TO CRACK OR LEAK. EVENTUALLY THE WINDSHIELD COULD FALL OUT. *TR
2006 WINNEBAGO SIGHTSEER HAS SIDE PANELS BETWEEN THE WINDSHIELD AND SIDE WINDOWS. THE BRACKETS AND SCREWS HOLDING THE SIDE PANELS CAN RUST AND BLOW OFF THE MOTOR HOME WHILE TRAVELING AND CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. RAIN CAN TRAVEL INSIDE AND ACROSS THE BOTTOM OF THE WINDSHIELD AND CAUSE STRESS CRACKS IN THE WINDOW. THE CENTER VERTICAL METAL BAR BETWEEN THE TWO PIECES OF GLASS CAN RUST AWAY AND CAUSE MORE STRESS ON THE GLASS WINDSHIELD. *TR
