2011 Winnebago Vista Problems

Owner-reported complaints filed with NHTSA, grouped by component

Data refreshed

Owner complaintsComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

What this page shows

Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2011 Winnebago Vista, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.

Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

MY 2011 WINNEBAGO VISTA 35F HAS THE SAME DAMAGE TO THE PROTECTIVE WRAP OF THE ELECTRICAL WIRES FOR THE SLIDE-OUT AS DESCRIBED IN THE NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER 10V-390. HOWEVER, I'M BEING TOLD BY THE MANUFACTURER THAT MY VEHICLE IS NOT COVERED BY THE RECALL BECAUSE IT WAS BUILT 2 MONTHS AFTER THE DATES SPECIFIED BY THE RECALL. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO GET THIS ADDED TO THE RECALL? THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY THAT THE FIX THAT THE MANUFACTURER HAS MADE HAS NOT CORRECTED THE PROBLEM COMPLETELY, SINCE WINNEBAGO IS SAYING THAT MY VEHICLE SHOULD HAVE BEEN CORRECTED BEFORE LEAVING THE FACTORY. I HAVE NOT MADE ANY REPAIR TO THE VEHICLE YET, BUT WAS PLANNING TO MAKE THE REPAIR MYSELF UNTIL I SAW THIS RECALL.
